Hackney Library

Hackney's e-library is available free of charge for all Hackney Residents, all you need is a library card and pin number to access it.

Due to the current situation, they are putting in a temporary change of procedure for those individuals that wish to have access to our e-library but are unable to come into the Library to get a library card.

Here is the link to the online self registration page: https://hackney.gov.uk/libraries#join

When joining online you will be issued with a unique confirmation number ( this is the number you need to use when asked for the barcode number so keep it safe!) and be asked to set up a four digit PIN. Individuals can then access the following online resources:

Borrow box (Bolinda)
Overdrive
RB Digital
ULlibrary (Ulverscroft library)
Pressreader

For RBdigital, ULibrary and Pressreader you have to supply your email address as well when you register with them for the first time.

The above resources offer a mixture of e-books, audiobooks, magazines, newspapers and some graphic novels. The e-books and audiobooks cover fiction and non fiction and cater for children and adults.
